Created in the 1970s, the iconic Chelsea boot is made from start to finish at the Limoges factory using artisanal production methods. The black suffle calf leather upper is made from a single piece of leather and is shaped entirely by hand on a wooden last. A true feat of boot-making, this shoe stands out for its strong and elegant lines.

    The hand arching on wooden form
    This know-how consists of stretching the leather of the upper (top of the shoe) by hand, on a wooden last in order to guarantee it an ideal curve which will not sag over time. Cut from a single piece of curved leather, the Chelsea ankle boot, which nothing disturbs in its design other than the friendly elastic, is an example of ergonomics.
